·        The Scriptures

We believe that every word of the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 II Peter 1:20-21

·        The True God

We believe there is only one true and living God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

·        The Person of Jesus Christ

We believe in the absolute deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is God , existing from all eternity, co-equal with the Father and the Spirit, and that He is fully God and fully Man; and that as man He was miraculously begotten of the Ho;y Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died as an atonement for our sin, was buried, rose bodily, and ascended to Heaven where He is presently exalted at the Father’s right hand interceding for believers.

·        The Devil (Satan)

We believe that Satan is a distinct personality, evil incarnate; that he is a powerful being; he is known as the god of this age, the author of all the powers of darkness and sin, and the tempter, known as Lucifer. Created as an angel, he was cast out of Heaven because of his pride. He is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire.

Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:11-19; II Corinthians 4:3,4; Revelation 19:1-2;
Revelation 20:10

·        Creation

We believe the Genesis account of a literal six day creation as being neither allegory nor myth, but a literal, historical account of the direct immediate creative acts of God and not from previously existing forms of life; and that all men are descended from the historical Adam and Eve, first parents of the entire human race.

Genesis 1:1-2; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17

·        The Fall of Man

We believe that man, in the person of Adam, was created in innocence but by voluntary transgression fell into sin thus plunging the whole race into condemnation and death so that all mankind is born in sin and are without excuse before God and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for salvation.

Genesis 1:27, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-19; Genesis 6:5; Ephesians 4:18-19; John 3:1-8

·        Salvation

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from works, and is possessed by all who have by faith received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

Ephesians 2:8- 9

·        Assurance of Salvation

We believe that a person who is truly born again by the Holy Spirit cannot lose his salvation.

·        John 10:28

·        The Church, the Body of Christ

We believe that the church, the body of Christ, consists of all true believers.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14

·        Separation

We believe in obedience to the Biblical commands to separate from worldliness unto God. This includes separation from other churches or groups which adhere to unbiblical doctrine or practices.

·        The Great Commission

We believe that Christ commanded the Church to evangelize the world, and make disciples of those who believe by baptizing and teaching them.

Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1: 8

·        End Times

We believe that the return of Jesus Christ for His Church will be visible and personal. We further believe that the blessed hope of the believer is that we are not destined for wrath, and that Christ could return at any moment.

Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7; Titus 1:2: I Thessalonians 5:9; I Thessalonians 5:2;

Matthew 24: 45-51

·        The Eternal State of the Saved and the Unsaved

We believe that the saved will be raised to everlasting life and blessedness in heaven and that the unsaved will be raised to everlasting and conscious punishment in hell.

Luke 16:25; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:13-15
